1. Hi Mac Support York, the hardrive of my macbook pro just failed. i bought a new hardrive but , to be honest, it looks extremely complicated to change the hard drive opn my computer.how much would it cost to swap my damaged hard drive with the new hard drive i bought.regards, details of my computer : MacBook Pro 15″, Model Identifier: MacBookPro1,1, Processor Name: Intel Core Duo,Processor : 2.16 GHz, Number Of Processors: 1, Number Of Cores: 2, L2 Cache (per processor): 2 MB, Memory: 2 GB, Bus Speed: 667 MHz, Boot ROM Version: MBP11.0055.B08
2. My mac recently has been having (after online research) kernel panics and as soon as i switch it on, it says it needs to be switched off.
I admit the ibook is getting quite old and the battery doesn’t hold any charge and the cable plays up and cuts out charing. so i will need to get these replaced. It may be old but its my ibook and i use it a lot, just now its working as an expensive paper weight!
How much would it be to get the panics investigated? and fixed? Thanks Mac Repair York!
Can you please give me a call to see whether this is something you think you can fix and how much it would be? I understand the mac is getting a bit old, so need to work out whether it’s worth trying to repair.
I’ve got a bit of an issue with my right fan on a late 2007 MacBook Pro 15″. It doesn’t want to spin up sometimes and puts the CPU at a bit of a risk – sometimes right in the middle of a set or while video editing! Not good. Upshot of it is is that I think I may have a loose connection and would like for you guys to have a tinker. Clean a few points, maybe run a meter over the components to check if anything needs replacing?
If you could book me an appointment to come by and explain further? That would be grand.
