1. The problem I am having with my Mac Pro is that it does not start on the first push of the On button. The start up sound sounds and the lights come on on the monitors but the screens remain blank. I then have to Press the On button again for a couple of seconds to turn if off. Then I press the on button again it comes on (this I have to do more than once sometimes). When if finally comes on and I log in I get patchy blotches appear on the screen, on occasion the whole screen goes in to hyper mode and starts to flash lots of patterns accross the whole screen.
I have done a verify drive check in utilities and it found that there was a problem in showing that there was a mismatch in the content. This then suggested that I repair this with the OS installation disk which is what I did. This solved the problem and my Mac work fine. The next time I started it up the same problem occurred. The only thing that I have changed recently is installing extra RAM. The model I have is a 2.66ghz Core Duo Mac Pro with 14GB RAM. The model is around 3 years old.Is there a quick fix or will it need to have some form of repair? I look forward to your reply, any suggestions will be welcome.

3. Hi there I was caught in the rain last night and my macbook got wet through my backpack I am not sure how wet it became but now wont start, the white light on the left goes on when I turn it on but I cant hear anything no start up sounds or fan noises, nothing. I guess it has been water damaged but am not sure how much or if it is even fixable. Was wondering if you would be able to take a look at it to see the extent of the damage and about how much it would cost to find out whats wrong with it?
